Purpose
Law Image respects and values the diversity of its employees, customers and stakeholders. We view diversity as a strength and value individual differences. We are committed to creating an environment that allows our employees to bring their whole self to work confidently and discover their true potential.
We promote a no-barrier workplace where each individual is encouraged to take initiatives and are provided with learning opportunities to further their career.
Scope
This policy applies to all employees of Law Image Services (Aust) Pty Ltd.
Defining diversity and inclusion
Diversity describes the differences and uniqueness of all people. It covers skills, knowledge, experiences and perspectives of individuals and groups. It also refers to characteristics, such as cultural background and ethnicity, age, gender, gender identity, disability, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, language, education, professional skills, working style, location and life experiences. Diversity is also about the individual differences and acknowledging the unique blend of knowledge, skills, perspectives and personal characteristics such as disability, medical condition, carers’ responsibilities, pregnancy or potential pregnancy and any other characteristic of an individual.
An inclusive workplace values the diversity of all its employees, customers and stakeholders and upholds the right of every employee to be treated with respect and fairness whilst performing their work. An inclusive culture is one where everyone feels valued and respected and is able to fully contribute. It focusses on removing barriers and empowering people to contribute their skills and perspectives for the benefit of organisational performance and business outcomes.

Diversity and inclusion committee: Law Image has an internal committee set up to monitor it diversity and inclusion practices and to report out on the activities to the board. This committee includes the head of corporate projects, innovation head, design head and operations head.
Reporting and compliance
The diversity and inclusion committee reports out on it activities directly to the board. The committee also rolls out training led by managers through formal and informal formats covering Law Image’s approach to diversity and inclusion, anti- discrimination, workplace harassment, bullying and equal employment opportunity.
The head of corporate projects has the responsibility of the internal auditor who conducts regular reviews of the processes involved in workforce recruitment, remuneration and performance management to assess the implementation of and compliance with this policy.
Review of diversity and inclusion policy
The diversity and inclusion committee along with the Law Image board will review and amend this policy from time to time as required and also present the updates to the board.
