Law Image understands the requirements and urgencies of law firms, thereby helping them with their deadline-driven printing jobs.
The Project
Our client, Australia’s leading independent law firm, required assistance in a printing job for an arbitration trial in Perth.
The job was to print 146,000 pages, add 21900 tabs, and place them in a total of 231 folders. In addition, the team were required to deliver three copies to trial participants across three different locations.
Challenges faced:
The client placed the job over the weekend and was required to be delivered by the coming Monday. The Document Production team had to complete the task over the weekend.
It was particularly challenging as there was an unexpected delay in our shipment of dividers. However, the team managed to source the dividers and worked 24 hours over the weekend to achieve the required deadline.
Our Approach
Before initialising the project, we ensured that all consumables were made ready before starting the job. We approached this project in 3 simple steps.
- Step 1 – Preparation:
The team secured the required consumables, including extra toner, papers, folders, and tabs, and ensured no problems arose during the printing process. Although the order for dividers was delayed, the team made sure the job was not affected. - Step 2 – Process:
The team strategically planned the project to guarantee a seamless operation. They aligned the requisite elements by preparing the folders, boxes, and printing dividers, covers, and spines.
The team worked round the clock, 24 hours, over the weekend to complete the project by the required deadline. - Step 3 – Product:
The 24-hour continual work process, early preparation, and combined staff efforts resulted in the job getting completed smoothly and on time.
The knowledge of our specialist staff, who have years of experience overseeing high-volume printing projects, made the job easier.
Successful Outcome
We were able to finish and deliver the job within the required time frame.
The client was very pleased with the quick turnaround time, and overall quality of work. As a result, our document production team were asked to oversee the remaining print job for the trial.
